Show 25 - 25/06/13 - Malcolm Massey - Conspiracy Psychology

Show 25 - 25/06/13 - Malcolm Massey - Conspiracy Psychology

Our fourth show on a brand new night - we are now weekly on Tuesdays for a full two hours each edition, 8.00pm - 10.00pm BST on www.peterborough.fm. Presenters alex:g and SABRINA BELL will be discussing the psychology of conspiracies with MALCOLM MASSEY of the UK Column newspaper - why do some people believe in them, and why some people don't?

This edition will also be carried on 87.7fm on the local FM waveband around Peterborough.

Malcolm has a varied list of assignments to reveal to us, including his contesting of council tax, overdrafts, debt collectors, and insurance companies. Those familiar with the Roger Hayes and the Birkenhead incident - which involved members of the public arresting the judge - will be interested to know Malcolm served six weeks in jail for his involvement. He will detail how this was the path to his working with the UK Column newspaper and website.

Malcolm will look at how the mainstream media is the primary tool for maintaining a herd mentality, coupled with schools - which create the various boxes that people are put into.

In terms of research into how people tick, the Asche and Milgram experiments will be covered, as well as a number of experiments that Philip Zimbardo devised, including the famous Stanford Prison experiment. What Zimbardo has proven, through a number of experiments, is that Mankind's behaviour is dictated very much by his environment.

Malcolm will be happy to answer any questions about these subjects as well as any about the UK Column. He will also detail his involvement with various national groups, the Bradbury Pound (credit based money) campaign, and the Foot and Mouth (Agenda 21) documentary he will be releasing shortly.
